University Announcement

Dear all

Following the announcement by the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Health and Medical Services Fiji,  Dr James Fong on Tuesday 18 May 2021, the 24hr curfew will lift on Wednesday 19 May at 4 am and Nausori and Suva will revert to two separate containment zones. Only essential businesses will re-open. The University community is reminded that all Fiji Campuses will remain closed.

All classes will continue online and students are requested to call toll free number 1568 if they are unable to access Moodle and arrangements will be made to provide them with Offline Print Packs (OPP). Staff may contact their supervisors for any clarifications.

The University is closely monitoring the situation and requests all staff and students to take heed of the Fiji Government’s directives and follow all Government restrictions diligently. You are reminded that curfew hours are from 6 pm to 4 am for Viti Levu and movements outside your place of residence should only be for essential purposes.

Please keep interaction limited to your household members to protect your bubble and others. Wash your hands frequently, your face mask should cover your nose and mouth, download the CareFiji app and carry your mobile with you.

Please check your emails for regular updates.

Take care
