COVID-19 advisory for USP Campuses

ALL STAFF STUDENTS & VISITORS

Please take note of the COVID-19 measures below which have been further strengthened and will be enforced by USP.

All persons on campus must wear face masks at all times including within the confines of Public Service Vehicles and shared workspaces, building or public spaces, outdoor bures and walkways.

As announced by the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Tourism and Transport, failure to wear a mask or face covering in required settings will result in a spot fine of $250.

Additionally, staff, students and visitors will be required to check-in and check-out at all USP entry and exit points using the QR code displayed. The careFiji app must be activated with Bluetooth switched on.

Staff, students and visitors will be required to undergo mandatory temperature checks and are advised to carry their vaccination cards at all times. Failure to do so will result in non-entry to USP campuses.

USP Security reserves the right to evict any person not complying with the above measures.

All workplace heads and supervisors are to ensure that your staff comply to wearing face masks;

All lecturers, labs, and library personnel must ensure that students and users of these spaces wear face masks;

All event organisers are to ensure that participants and persons present at the event site wear face masks.
