• RMI-USP students will acquire the necessary attitude, knowledge and skills to allow
them to meet the challenges of university studies and life in general.
• RMI-USP graduates will be human resources who will contribute socially, intellectually,
and economically to the development and wellbeing of RMI.
• RMI-USP is evolving into a sub-regional institution where students from the North
Pacific can obtain a quality academic pre-tertiary education.
The RMI-USP Joint Education Program is a partnership in education between the Republic
of the Marshall Islands (RMI) and the University of the South Pacific (USP).
It was established in 1996.
