1. UNDP and USP Partnership
A long term partnership between the UNDP, Suva and USP has been established, focusing on four key pillars, namely: knowledge sharing; internships; sharing of technical expertise; and awareness-raising on development issues.
2. UNFPA and USP 2011 Annual Work Plan
This 2011 Annual Work Plan (AWP) between UNFPA and USP encompasses a multi-pronged strategy to strengthen statistical capabilities as well as institutional capacities with regards to Population & Development and Population Statistics. The University is the implementing partner and other partners are UNFPA and other National Statistics Offices.
3. UNIFEM and USP Partnership
A partnership between USP and UNIFEM for the long-term support l of meeting the demand for gender expertise in various fields of development across the Pacific region. The partnership was implemented by the Division of Journalism. UNIFEM provided support of US$ 30,000 for the programme.
4. WHO POLHN Partnership
As part of a partnership agreement WHO Pacific Online Health Network (POLHN), USP is offering online courses in English, Mathematics and Education to students accepted by USP and selected by WHO. A total grant of FJ$ 32,000.00 has been provided by WHO to educate a maximum of 60 students.
