Field trips are an integral part of the learning process in the Department of Geography. This page describes some of the main field trips and gives access to a range of pictures from each. We hope that these pictures do for this website what they do for our students:  reveal the true nature of Geography in the South Pacific Region.

GE 101: Introduction to Physical Geography
The first-year physical geography course at the University of the South Pacific is taught by Professor Patrick Nunn and involves a 3-day fieldtrip.

GE 306: Pacific Geoscience
Coral Coast, Sigatoka Sand Dunes, Sigatoka River Valley and Keiyasi area.
This five-day field trip occurs in the mid-semester break. This course is taught by Professor Patrick Nunn and Dr. James Terry.
