The vision of the Confucius Institute is to enhance the understanding of the Chinese language and culture by people from Fiji and other countries of the South Pacific region, to deepen friendly relationships with these nations, to promote multiculturalism and to build a harmonious world.
The mission of the Confucius Institute is to provide Chinese language teaching, train local Chinese language teachers and students, organize Chinese proficiency tests, conduct traditional and contemporary Chinese cultural studies, and host cultural activities about arts, Chinese medicine, martial arts, and cooking among others.
Is it not pleasant to learn and to review constantly what one has learnt? Is it not delightful to have friends coming from afar?
