Research interests
My research lies primarily in physical geography and biogeography. I am interested in reconstructing the environmental conditions of the past and the way the natural environment has evolved to the present. I am also interested in the role of plants and animals in the environment. I am currently investigating the roles and uses of ornamental and coastal plants and how the marine environment is exploited by people.
