(Adjunct Professor at USP)
James Terry received his BSc (Hons) (1988) and PhD (1992) from the University of Wales at Swansea in the United Kingdom. Between 1996 and 2008, he was based at The University of the South Pacific in Fiji. Since 2008, he has been an Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore. James’ research encompasses fluvial geomorphology and hydrology in the humid tropics, the behaviour of tropical cyclones and their impact on the physical environment, El Niño and drought in the Pacific, volcanic geomorphology and tropical island karst.
