MBA Programme

Welcome to Graduate School of Business (GSB)

"Alumni dinner successful"

Business was not on the menu as the Dinner with Alumni programme proved a relaxed setting for most present at the Holiday Inn, Suva, yesterday.

The University of the South Pacific (USP) hosted the business school particularly Master of Business Administration (MBA) students for the annual gala event that proved a success.

This annual alumni project is part of an initiative sponsored by Vodafone Fiji and Life Insurance Corporation of India (LICI), which was created to celebrate, and promote the outstanding community and volunteer work and accomplishments that is performed by graduate management programmes.

USP Business Faculty, Professor Rughuvar Bathak said the Dinner with Alumni programme was created to provide networking opportunities for undergraduate students. This is with the hopes that students would draw inspiration from professional, educational, philanthropic, and personal accomplishments of the alumni.

The MBA alumni hosts numerous dinners annually for hundreds of undergraduate students, making it a one of much-anticipated premier programmes to bring students and alumni together.

United Apparel Fiji Limited administration manager Avijit Chowdhury said he was glad to be part of the annual event.

"From recent graduates to retirees, all alumni are eligible to participate in this programme.

"The MBA alumni community is a source of inspiration for students who have much to learn from their accomplishments and this event will acknowledge the MBA Alumni and celebrates with existing graduate management participants," he said.
