"India Glittering: All that Glitters is not Gold”

on  Monday , 27th  February from 5.15 PM in the MBA Conference Hall to MBA students.
 
Abstract:
During last two decades India has made commendable progress. India is being described as one of the leading progressive countries of the world and whole focus of the emerging economies is shifting towards India along with China. Dr Chawla will be presenting some facts that show the mixed picture of whole of the development process.

Dr. Chawla's Profile:
Dr. A.S.Chawla is currently holding the position of Professor in School of Management Studies, Punjabi University Patiala India where he has been teaching for over 30 years.  He has also worked as a Financial Advisor in an Industrial conglomerate at Nairobi for two years (1995-97) and as the Dean of Faculty of Management, Kigali University of Science and Technology, Rwanda(East Africa) during 2000-2004. Dr. Chawla has been closely associated with Harvard Business School Initiative (Making Markets Work Executive Education Program) in Central and South African region and coordinated the program in Rwanda.  He is an adjunct faculty at Wilkes University, PA, USA . He is also associated with Kutztown University, USA, Yantai University China, UTM, Malaysia and Tribhuwan University Kathmandu for various academic exchange activities. He has undertaken a number of training and consulting projects in India, Central, Eastern and South African region sponsored by USAID, World Vision, Ministry of Health, Rwandan Government. He has published over four dozen research papers and nine books. He is the Director of Forward Market Commission, GOI, and Priknit Retails limited.
