Discussion: Request was made to SAS to start using the SMS Notification service and the RAs were told to work on a staff training plan for the Gradebook. Request was also made to update student numbers on the Banner and a promotion plan was drawn up for USP Open Day to promote the services.

Discussion: Meeting was held with Oceanic in which they gave a presentation of the applications that they have developed. They demoed some SMS services and said that they would make a prototype for USP. Student SMS validation was also discussed.

Discussion: Recruitment of new RAs and the salary and contract of current RAs were discussed. Testing of SMS service with regional numbers was required and permission to buy new equipment such as an IPAD was given.
