Graduating in Absentia

If you graduate in absentia, you may either :

  • Personally collect your Certificate and Official Academic Transcript from Student Services Centre a week after the ceremony. Please note, if you send someone to collect your documents they must have a letter of authority from the graduand and identification. Please ensure that the authorised individual produces either a valid Driver’s License or FNPF Card or Passport. The letter must state the graduands student identification number and programme of study that he/she is graduating in.

    1st Floor of the Communications Building (former location of ITS).
    Opening Hours:         Monday to Thursday     8am - 5pm,
                                      Friday                         8am - 4:30pm

  • Your Certificate and Official Academic Transcript will be Posted to your Vacation address as a registered article three weeks after the end of the ceremony.
    Check with Student Administrative Services if your Vacation address is correct.

    If you wish to have your certificate sent to a different address, please complete the Request for Change to Personal details form ( View Online || Download) (size: 157KB) and send it to Student Services Centre or contact Aliti Bukarau.

   CERTIFICATES CANNOT BE REPLACED
