Student Bursary Scheme Semester 2, 2013

Financial Assistance - Opportunity for USP PRIVATE students.

USP is offering significant financial assistance to offset the study costs of private students in 2013.

Students from any USP Campus are eligible to apply. (Note: Funds will be paid in the equivalent of Fiji Dollars)

The Student Bursary Scheme are only for Private students, who are currently admitted or enrolled in any Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree programme and Diploma programme at the University of the South Pacific.

 

Applicants must :

1. Complete a Student Bursary Application (Download) (size: 424KB) which can also be collected from the Student Administrative Services Office (1st floor Communications Building)

2. Attach original or a certificated document as evidence of your family income.

3. If parent(s)/guardian of applicant is self employed or unemployed and and is financially supporting the applicant, the parent or guardian must provide a Statutory Declaration confirming their income status.

4. If the applicant is self-employed or unemployed and is paying for his/her own tuition fee, the applicant must provide a Statutory Declaration confirming their income status.

The University Scholarship Committee will make its allocation decisions based on:

i. A 2.5 GPA or more, and /or proven consistent improvement in grades over the last 2 semesters.

ii. Family income

 

Complete applications (with all required documents) can be emailed to bursary(at)usp.ac.fj. Note that incomplete and late applications will not be considered.
