The following highlight progress to date on the various initiatives outlined to SMT and USP stakeholders as being outcomes from the intensive ICT Services and Infrastructure review conducted by ITS with ICT Consultant Dr. Dilawar Grewal over the December 2012 January 2013 period. These initiatives were presented to the Vice Chancellor’s office in mid-December, 2012 in the document “ICT Services & Infrastructure Review Implementation Strategy Version 1”.

Endorsement & Funding for a series of projects/enhancements targeting short term improvements in advance of Semester 1, 2013 were secured from the Vice-Chancellor’s office this document focuses on progress to date of these initial short term initiatives.

In brief, all aspects of the improvements are progressing satisfactorily with some key improvements in services successfully tabled by ITS teams after infrastructure upgrades at Emalus, Alafua and Solomon Islands campuses.
