Get Walking
You can participate for the VC’s Walk on the Foreshore from 3:30pm on 27th May provided it is a non-essential service such as, IT Services, Medical, scheduled classes and that YOU have approval from your supervisor (please note you Do NOT get paid extra to participate in the Walk, it is a voluntary walk). Applicable ONLY for the VC’s Walk on the Foreshore
Yes we know what you're thinking. Too busy and can’t afford to take that afternoon off! Wake up, people who exercise are more productive and less likely to be absent from work. Applicable ONLY on the 27th of May for the VC’s Walk on the Foreshore at 3:30pm.
There are many other forms of exercise during the rest of the week. Just do whatever you are comfortable with.

Cooking Demo
Come to the Health Week. There will be cooking demonstrations from renowned chefs and our very own USP staff.
Local food is fresher and tastes better than food that has been flown in from thousands of miles away.
Dietician on board. This is your chance to get some tips and advice on how to cook healthy meals using mostly local produce within budget.

Many people don’t consider stress management as a factor unless they are on the brink of a burnout. With our busy lives as either a staff or student, it doesn’t seem important to take on the practice of stress management.
However, it is vital to develop healthy stress relieving practices. It will pay off in the long run like better health, increased productivity and more happiness in general.

Cancer Awareness. Find Cancer Early
Some cancers can be found early, before they have had a chance to grow and spread. The earlier a cancer is diagnosed the greater the chance it can be treated successfully. Cancer not only affects the person but it has a major impact on the person’s family, friends and work place.

Fitness through Dance
Dancing can be transforming. Uplift a tired soul, give free rein to locked-away creativity, unite cultures and many more. On a more physical level, dancing is a great mind and body workout.
