First year students of the University of the South Pacific Lautoka Campus participated in workshops specially designed to enhance their learning at USP held over the second week of March.
The interactive learning sessions were conducted by USPís Student Learning Specialist Niseta Buatava and Student First Year Experience Coordinator Shareeni Kala staff from the Student Learning Support (SLS) in Laucala.
The sessions were aimed at broadening the first year studentsí knowledge about USP, the types of student learning support offered to the Distance and Flexible Learning students and other important and relevant issues and topics that included Overcoming Fears.
Dr. Devi said the students who attended these sessions had the benefit of getting their doubts clarified and also acquired some very useful tips and information to improve their learning at USP.
She extended her appreciation to the SLS representatives from the Faculty of Arts, Law and Education in Suva, for their efforts and time spent at the Lautoka Campus.
