Orientation 2018 - Faculty of Science and Technology

To all the First years a warm welcome to our FSTE Family. We are here to guide you through your first year at the University and help you get on the path to success and graduation. Please take time to read through the course outlines and note the assessment due dates, tutorial/lab sign up details and their minimum attendance requirements. There are various ways the teaching teams will be helping you learn better and I encourage you to take full advantage of the resources and support services that FSTE is providing. Such as:

  1. Sign up for Peer Mentoring (Study with Buddies at the SLS Hub)
  2. Consult your academic advisors Dr. Francis Mani (francis.mani(at)usp.ac.fj at Chemistry Block) & Dr. Kabir Mamun (kabir.mamun(at)usp.ac.fj at ICT Building) regularly
  3. Meet your course coordinators, tutors and consult with them regularly
  4. Meet your Student Learning Specialists (at the SLS Hub)

I hope that you can also drop by my weekly Student Open Door, at the FSTE Main Admin Building.
