The USP Lautoka collected another 36 pints of blood, that can potentially save up to 108 lives, during its blood drive campaign on 13th December, 2014.
As usual the drive was held at the Sugar City Mall in Lautoka.
The Blood Drive Organizing Chairman Upendra Kumar said he was pleased to see that the donors turned up for this worthy cause despite the rain.
Mr Kumar said the staff from the Lautoka Hospital was overwhelmed to see such a huge turnout considering it was a busy time of the year, being the festive season, and also since another drive was held just the previous month.
He said the Campus is planning on organizing another drive next year in about three to four months’ time.
