Rona Finiasi, a Multimedia Developer, participated in an Adobe Captivate training workshop at the University of Sydney’s Centre for Continuing Education in Sydney, Australia, from 22nd to 29th August 2016. Adobe Captivate is an application that is used to design and build engaging, interactive eLearning applications and simulations for multi-devices including desktop, tablet, mobile and web.
Rona found the training very useful as he learnt to create software demonstrations, interactive simulations, interactive storyboarding, scenarios branching, and quizzes using Adobe Captivate software and publishing these as HTML5. He found the course interesting because he learned that eLearning reaches out to a lot of industrial fields and not only restricted to learning institutions as most of his class members were from corporate businesses, banks etc. This Adobe training will enhance his current work as Multimedia Developer at CFL as it has built his capacity to create more diverse interactive modules, learning simulations and interactive assessment activities.
This training was funded by the 2016 USP Staff Development Funding. He also thanked the CFL Management and the USP Staff Development Committee for giving him this opportunity.
