USP Students take part in 4FJ Campaign

On the 14th of August, twelve USP student took part in the 4FJ campaign against the capturing of two [2]A-grade fish, Donu and Kawakawa.

Together with the students is the team from Sea web Asia Pacific from Suva who brought the campaign materials to aid in the campaign. A lot of people from all walks of life flock towards the campaign venue to get the message our students are trying update them with.

Many had expressed their concern and had admitted they still hunt for the two species of fish for their livelihood but were very grateful for the drive portrayed by Sea web Asia Pacific and USP - Labasa Campus. They admitted that they were not aware of the issue until they were informed by the Campaign. They were then asked to sign a declaration form in which they have to pledge that they are not going to fish nor eat the two species of fish.
