2010 Careers Fair

Lorissa Hazelman accompanied 19 of our graduates to Denarau for interviews with Bryce and Amanda of Carnival Australia. Despite the very early departure from Suva (5am) to Denarau, all students were present.

The School of Tourism and Hospitality Management are happy to announce that five of our graduates were offered jobs and if they accept this offer, will be leaving as early as 01 April, 2010. These graduates were:

  1. Liz Kaloudau
  1. Epeli Drau
  1. Moreen Sharma
  1. Akisi Roko Vucago
  1. Patricia Bibi

Carnival Australia were looking for students who had the personality (lots of it) and work experience which all these candidates had.

This arrangement with Carnival Australia looks like it will be an on-going one and our advice to all TS students who wish to get a job with this company is to start gaining work experience from Year One onwards.
