POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN GOVERNANCE

The Postgraduate Diploma in Governance program is intended for students who have recently completed their degrees and those who are already in the workforce. It is an ideal programme for people in senior or middle-level management positions in government departments and statutory corporations as well as those employed by non-government organisations who feel they would benefit from an in-depth understanding of the issues associated with the implementation of the 'good governance' agenda.

Special Admission Requirements:

To admitted in the Postgraduate Diploma in Governance a full time candidate shall have a Bachelor's degree from a recognised tertiary institution with a GPA of at least 3 (for a part time candidate at least 2.5 in the 200 and 300-level courses in relevant disciplines). Consideration be given to professional experience and related training.

Program Requirements:

Consists of five courses.

Courses:

DG400; plus DG404 or DG406; plus one 400-level Governance course (DG403 is recommended but not required); plus two 400-level elective courses that may be in Governance or related fields.
