DFL

Acknowledgements

The DFL website is a creation drawn from the experience of those who were once an integral part of the USP DFL community as well as those still with us today. These individuals have graciously contributed their time and expertise in consultations with them. We acknowledge them for their diligent support and contribution; for their faithful attendance at meetings called; for the not-so-simple task of gathering information via research at the library, online and print sources of education, the local web guru (whomever that may be at the time), and impromptu ‘talanoa’ sessions in the tearoom, along the corridors or a cohort’s cubicle or office; for meticulously pouring over content that required rewriting, restructuring, editing, and finally web-ready.

Special thanks to:

  • Melissa Gold, Seni Nabou, Valentine Hazelman, Pita Tuisawau, Carole Hunter, Christopher Robbins, Kerishma Seth, Tanya Tremewan, Vikash Goundar, Fr John Bonato, Tui Bolalailai, Eileen Tuimaleali’ifano, Sarome Seeto and Jim Hawke;
  • DFLSC support staff who have provided their own brand of constructive criticisms to keep us on our toes (& drive us insane); and
  • Academic staff who have shared works in their field of expertise for the wider USP community and beyond.

We would also like to acknowledge AusAID for funding the USP AusAID DFL Project of which this website is a component, the DFL Component 1 team for their invaluable advice, feedback and lunch, Media Centre Graphics Unit for a logo that will one day be put to good use, the Standard Covers Committee for permitting us to use the standard cover image even if we didn’t ask, ITS for supporting us through their services, and answering our endless queries, and JICA for the applications and equipment to bring it all together.

THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH!
