When you arrive at the destination airport you must show the immigration officials your:
-
passport
-
immigration arrival card
-
a copy of your USP offer letter
-
a copy of your Student Permit document (if entering Fiji or Vanuatu).
In Fiji and Vanuatu, Immigration officials at the airport may initially stamp your passport with a visitor's permit, even though you show them the copy of your Student Permit document. Do not be concerned about that, as staff at USP will subsequently correct this for you.

Your application will be checked and forwarded to the Immigration Department. Once your permit has been processed your name will be posted on the SAS notice-board notifying you that your passport is available for collection.

The first working day after you arrive you should come to the Administration Building with your passport, your Student Permit and your USP offer letter (and sponsorship letter if you are formally sponsored for your studies). If Vanuatu Immigration authorities at the airport stamped your passport with a visitor's permit, you will be asked to sign the original version of your Student Permit (which is on file), and it, together with your passport will be forwarded to the Immigration Department so the Student Permit can be correctly issued. Once your permit has been processed you will be notified to come and uplift your passport.
