Which form to fill when applying for FSTE research fund and/or submitting MASTERS or PHD Thesis proposals

• COMPLETE THE  form titled Application for Staff Research Grant /Supervised Research Project/Masters Proposal and  PhD Thesis and Grant Proposal
• For those submitting masters or PhD thesis proposals, the Consent of Principal Supervisor Form must also be filled and submitted before or together with the thesis proposal. If a masters or PhD student wishes to change the principal supervisor, then the Change of Principal Supervisor Request Form must be filled.

Who submits progress and final reports?

• Every recipient of FSTE research fund, and masters and PhD candidates

When and how to submit progress and final reports

Recipient of FSTE research fund:

1. Annually; fill the form Progress Report for Research Grant
2. End of project; fill the form Final Report for Research Grant. The final report must be completed within 2 months of the close of the project.

Masters and PhD Candidates:

• At the end of every semester; fill the form PG Progress Report. The first report, which must be submitted within the first semester of the masters or PhD program, must also include detailed literature review relating to the topic, and which will form a substantial part of the introductory chapter of the final thesis.
