Dial-Up Services Policy

Dial-Up Network Access provides users with the full range of services. The computer is assigned with a temporary IP address and becomes a node on the Network. Applications such as FTP (file transfer), Netscape (Web browser) and Pegasus (mail client) can be run over a PPP (point-to-point) link.

Email Policy - Distribution

The all-staff and all-student email distribution lists contain the email addresses of all University staff members and students respectively. Any news or announcements through email that requires the attention of all University staff and students is distributed through these lists. Only a few people have the privilege to moderate the emails before it is actually distributed using all-staff and all-student distribution list.
