1.      Establishment of the Confucius Institute

With funding support from China, USP and the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications are in the process of establishing a Confucius Institute at the Laucala Campus. This will enable the staff and students of the University to learn the language and, through exchange programmes, experience the traditions and cultural practices of China.  The Confucius Institute will offer a variety of courses.
