At the Taiwan/ROC-Pacific Island Countries Dialogue, held in the margins of the Forum Leaders Meeting in Vanuatu in August 2010, the Taiwan/ ROC’s Vice Minister announced the list of projects implemented by CROP organisations that would be funded for 2010-2011. The University received total funding in the amount of FJD $239,401 for the following projects:
- Development of the Community-Scale Solar Water Pumping Project;
- Pacific Island Spatial Vulnerability Reporting System as a Policy Tool to Enhance Climate Change Resilience and Adaptation Capacities of Coastal Communities in Fiji and the Solomon Islands; and
- Women in Post-Harvest Fisheries.
