Dr. Gurmeet Singh is Associate Professor , Coordinator Post Graduate Program, School of Management and Public Administration and Associate Dean Research and Graduate Affairs, Faculty of Business and Economics, The University of The South Pacific, Suva, Fiji. He did his M.Phil and Ph.D. in Marketing Management from University of Jammu, Jammu, India. Dr. Singh along with his team from USP has won 2008 Japanese award for outstanding research on development. This award was declared after his presentation during 10th Annual Global Development Conference that was held in Kuwait from Feb 1-5(2009).
Dr. Singh has over 18 years of experience in teaching, research, consultancy and executive training industries. He has worked both in India and abroad on various teaching assignments. His teaching, research and consulting interests include marketing, international marketing, consumer behavior, advertising management, customer service & customer satisfaction, e-governance and entrepreneurship. Dr. Singh has attended and presented/contributed papers in leading international conferences in the area of marketing and management.
Dr. Singh has published many research papers in refereed international journals such as International Journal of Emerging Markets; Gender in Management: An International Journal (Emerald Publishers); International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Small Business (Inderscience Publishers); Journal of Administration & Governance (NAPSIPAG); SASIN Journal of Management, Hong Kong; The Asia Pacific Economic Journal, Kagoshima University, Japan; Skyline Business School Journal, Sharjah (UAE); Journal of Global Information Technology, Global Digital Business Association, USA and Public Organization Review: A Global Journal (Springer USA).
