Only one item may be issued at a time. The Pacific Collection Librarian has the discretion to withhold the loan of an item.

- Photocopying and scanning
The Library complies with the Fiji Copyright Act of 1999. For preservation purposes, some materials such as pre-1940 works may not be available for photocopying by the user. All materials are copied at the discretion of the Pacific Collection Librarian.
Pacific Collection items (especially theses) are generally not available for interlibrary loan. However second and third copies of Pacific materials may be available for lending, at the discretion of the Pacific Collection Librarian
A DVD player and VHS player are available to view Pacific Collection films.
USP academic staff, postgraduate students, and other persons as approved by the University Librarian may browse the Collection. Users must first sign the Register at the Pacific Collection Desk. This service will be monitored closely to ensure that materials in the Collection are used with care, so as to minimize damage.
