The Certificate in Early Childhood Education (CECE) consists of three semester-long courses targeted at the professional upgrading of preschool teachers in the region.

Students who complete this programme can then progress to the Diploma in Early Childhood Education, also offered by distance and flexible learning.

Admission Requirements
Persons are eligible to be admitted to study for the Certificate in Early Childhood Education if they have passed Form 4 English.

Programme Requirements
Consists of three courses in sequence:     

• UEP001: Exploring Early Childhood Education

• UEP002: Growing Up In A Pacific Family

• UEP003: Skills In Managing An Early Childhood Centre

NB: For CECE only one course can be taken per semester and not two or all three courses.
