About the Programme
The University of the South Pacific Library with the Regional Centre for Continuing & Community Education and the USP Distance & Flexible Learning Support Centre (DFL) offers a programme in basic skills for library and information centre staff.
The courses are at vocational level and are offered primarily by distance education mode (printed course materials supplemented by satellite tutorials and online support through the learning mangaement system: Moodle (online assignment submission, discussion forums and additional resources).

To be eligible to enter into the Certificate programme, a student will need
If a student has a pass in either LLF11 Communication and Study Skills or 7th Form English or equivalent, that student should enrol in the Diploma. Otherwise students should enrol in the Certificate.

Please note, these courses cannot be accredited to the Diploma programme. Students who wish to enrol to the Diploma programme must first meet the Diploma prerequisites.
