There are two main areas of research/interest. The first is film theory/history. This interest has led to the involvement in script writing and film production. The second area and for which much research was undertaken during the writing of my MA thesis is historiography. The focus is on how history writing can be re-imagined and re-conceptualised using the idea professed by the literary and historical theorist Hayden White that the “historical text is a literary artifact.”
