Kiribati English Language Test (KELT)

Background

The Kiribati English Language Test (KELT) was first held in 2007.  KELT was established in partnership between the English language and Education Centre (ELEC)  at the USP Kiribati Campus and the  Public Service Office within the Government of Kiribati.  The aim of KELT is to ensure that candidates will have access to a test that will confirm their English language language proficiency when they apply for an In-Service Academic Award.

KELT 2008

Kelt 2008 will be held on the 22 May 2008 at the USP Kiribati Campus.  Information for candidates can be found by following this link.  Everyone is eligible to sit the test.  Please note the following:

  • Kelt comprises two parts: a writing and a listening component
  • Registration for KELT is through the USP Kiribati Campus Accounts Office
  • Registration for KELT 2008 closes on Tuesday 20 May 2008
  • The test costs $50
  • No candidate will be allowed to sit the test unless they have photo ID that matches the name on the registration form
