This is the guiding framework for the Faculty. It is aligned to the USP Strategic Plan 2010-2012. It includes the specific strategic issues the Faculty will address as it positions itself to take on a more prominent leadership role in the scholarship in the diverse areas of humanities, social sciences, education, law, languages, media, arts and cultures in the Pacific region. The plan reflects the Faculty's commitment to achieving the University's goals towards quality, relevance and sustainability for the next triennium - 2010-2012.

Faculty Regional Co-ordinators Action Strategies 2010-2012

The faculty regional co-ordinators action strategies 2010-2012 outlines key target areas, objectives and the KPIs of the FAL regional co-ordinator. It summaries the actions and strategies the faculty will have in place to facilitate the teaching its of its courses in the region and how best to support its regional students.

Faculty Assembly

The Faculty Assembly is the general forum where all categories of staff in the Faculty meet to discuss and exchange general matters of interest relating to the Faculty.

Faculty Executive Committee

The Faculty Executive Committee is part of the faculty management structure comprising key section heads at faculty level whose key role is to assist the Dean with the provision of timely strategic advice on planning and resource allocation, support of implementation of faculty plans and facilitation of monitoring and evaluation leading to enhanced quality of course and programme delivery and research outcomes.

Faculty Research Committee

The Faculty Research Committee is required to manage the postgraduate and research (including research ethics) interests of the Faculty.

School Board of Studies

The Board of Studies is a forum where the schools may raise, discuss, and endorse changes to the efficient and quality delivery of the school’s core activities of learning and teaching and research.
