Orientation Week - Campus Life
The University of the South Pacific is looking forward to meeting its new students, and helping them explore all that awaits them at this premier institution of higher learning, with a week-long Orientation programme. The Orientation programme is designed to smooth your transition to university life and will play a critical role in your overall success at the USP.
The next Orientation week programme will run from 30 January – 4 February 2017, and it promises to be even bigger than before. The week-long programme is designed to give students a ‘kick start’ to their studies, as well as a taste of the rich campus experiences they will come across, during their time at the USP. Many workshops have been designed for new students by the SLS and Orientation team.
Students who attend the 2017 Orientation will have the chance to win major prizes; like laptops, i-pads and many more exciting prizes.
So, come and be part of this important journey, and start your University life with the end in mind – we will guide you all the way. And don’t forget to collect your Orientation Kit from your respective Faculty Orientation and welcome session. It contains very important resources that will help you know and adjust in the University environment better. The Orientation Kit will also include the 2017 USP Orientation Guide, Student Orientation passport, and many other resources that will only be given during the Student Orientation programme.
You are encouraged to attend your faculty welcome session and as many workshops possible. We would also like to invite your parents and partners to the Orientation programme designed specifically for them. This will take place on 4 February 2017 (Saturday).
