Campus Transfer

The procedure for students who wish to change campus differs depending on when they wish to transfer.

In-between semesters
Students who complete a semester at one campus and wish to change to a different campus in the next semester must submit an application for admission for the campus where they want to study. This application can be submitted at either the campus that the student is leaving or the one that they are transferring to.

After registration
If a student registers for courses at one campus and then wishes to move to another campus they can do so until the last date to pay fees (week six). To do this the student must submit a Request to Transfer form to the campus that they are leaving. This is then approved by SAS or the Campus Director, and a copy given to the student. When the student arrives at the new campus they must present the approved transfer form in order to be registered.

After the close of transfers
If a student is required to move after the fee payment date, for employment, medical or compassionate reasons they may make an application to have their exam site changed. All applications must be made to the Manager Assessment at SAS Laucala Campus with documentary evidence supporting the request for exam site change. Regional campus students should also include an endorsement from their Campus Director. Evidence could be a letter from the employer, medical or death certificates. If a student is required to move because of their family, evidence of the relationship (birth certificates) must also be provided. Note that there is no guarantee that the change of exam site will be approved. Students should make their request as early as possible and wait for confirmation from the Manager Assessment before they make any travel plans.
