Detlef joined the USP Media Centre as the Senior Graphic Artist in 2001. He was Acting Director at various times during the past 8 years. He is now Head of the Multimedia Unit of CFDL. Detlef studied Graphic Arts in France and Switzerland and worked in Saudi Arabia, Cameroon and Thailand before moving to the Pacific in 1978.
He worked with SPC at the Regional Media Centre for 14 years and then as a graphic media consultant for various UN agencies and other Suva based regional organizations. Altogether he has 40 years of experience as a graphic designer, photographer, print production specialist, trainer and consultant in the field of educational media.
