Narendra joined the School of Management and Public Administration in the beginning of semester 2, 2008.
Narendra Prasad is currently an Assistant Lecturer with USP’s School of Management and Public Administration. He has 19 years of teaching and consultancy experience with the education sector in Fiji. Narendra Prasad has contributed to USP’s DFL teaching for the past 11 years on a part time basis.
Narendra has also held senior teaching, counseling, and management and consultancy positions with the Ministry of Education, the curriculum development unit and the national examination and assessment unit since 1990. Before joining the USP in August, 2008, Narendra worked as a full time lecturer with the Fiji Institute of Technology’s department of Management and Economics for three years.
He has been a national external examiner for commerce subjects for more than 10 years, has been engaged in various teacher training programs and has conducted various seminars on employee performance / productivity in the education sector. He obtained his Masters in Commerce degree, a Post Graduate Diploma and a BA in Management / Public Administration from the University of the South Pacific in 2008, 1996 and 1994 respectively. He also holds a Certificate in guidance and Counseling from the USP, a Diploma in Primary Teaching [LTC] and a Diploma in Tertiary Teaching from the Fiji Institute of Technology.
He is currently teaching MG204 and MG106, Introduction to IR.
