Mr Parmod Achary joined USP in January, 2008 as a lecturer in Management and Public Administration. He has for number of years taught as part time lecturer.
Mr Achary started his career with the Fiji National Provident Fund as clerical officer. He moved up to become Assistant General Manager, Member benefits.
Before joining USP he was employed as General Manager, Development Services with The Fiji Island Revenue and Customs Authority (FIRCA) from 2004 to 2007.During his employment with FIRCA he acted as Chief Executive Officer on number of occasions. He also acted CEO for Fiji National Provident Fund as well.
He has an extensive experience in areas of Operations Management and Human Resource Management.
He holds a Bachelor Of Arts degree and Masters in Business Administration from USP. He has attended numerous specialized trainings in operations and HRM locally and abroad including at INSEAD.
He is currently teaching MG202, MG312 and MG411.
