Lasarusa joined the USP Media Centre as a Graphic Illustrator in 2003. He is now a Graphic Artist of the Multimedia Unit of CFDL. He graduated from the Fiji Institute of Technology with a Trade Certificate in Graphic Design in 1997.
Before joining USP he worked in the commercial sector for 6 years as a graphic designer. Lasarusa has over 10 years of work experience with the Windows and Macintosh platforms. He is a part-time tutor with the journalism program assisting students to develop their skills in layout with Adobe InDesign to produce the student newspaper Wansolwara. Other software he is familiar with are Macromedia FreeHand, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Pagemaker, Streamline, MS Publisher and QuarkXpress.
