Campus directors given an overview of CFDL

At the Wednesday’s (8th April) session of the RCDC 2009 where the theme was learning and teaching, the regional Campus Directors were presented with an overview of the new CFDL structure and its functions.
While presenting, the CFDL team of Valentine Hazelman, Theresa Koroivulaono and Louise Vakamocea, highlighted and emphasised the importance of CFDL and how it fit into USP’s Strategic Plan for 2012. They also discussed issues such as course design and development, Moodle, e-learning, the DFL course manager, key SLS areas such as academic and study skills, English and communication skills, Math and numeracy skills, online learning and Success@USP and how it will be mainstreamed and integrated into USP’s general student services.
RCDC is an annual conference attended by USP’s regional Campus Directors as well as representatives from various faculties and sections of the university. The conference commenced on April 6th and ended on April 9th, 2009.
