CFDL facilitates PowerPoint workshop for CFS teaching staff
A CFDL facilitated workshop
The College of Foundation Studies (CFS) teaching staff were provided with a workshop facilitated by CFDL on best practises of using PowerPoint for effective learning and teaching. The workshop was held at ITS Lab 1 on the 7th of July, 2009 and attracted 18 participants.
Participants were taken through practical hands-on sessions on creating, editing and using visuals in Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. They were also given time to reflect on what they had just learnt and to incorporate that in their PowerPoint presentations.
Emily Moala Pouvalu, CFS Director, addressed the importance of this PowerPoint training to her teaching staff and was grateful to CFDL for facilitating the workshop.
As part of its professional development contribution to USP, CFDL hopes to deliver more workshops of this nature in the future.
