CFDL conducted a half day workshop on the 23rd of July on preparing the Introduction and Assignments Book for DFL students. The workshop attracted 17 staff members from the three faculties, College of Foundation Studies, Student Learning Support and the Regional Centre for Continuing and Community Education.
The participants were introduced to the revised template for the I&A book and engaged in practical activities on writing a course introduction, learning outcomes and designing assignment questions that were aligned to the learning outcomes.
Group discussions that took place during the workshop saw the more experienced staff members sharing their experiences and evaluating the group presentations. The workshop was well received by the participants.
