DELIVERY MODE
The programme is divided into 4 modules and is delivered through face to face workshops and workplace learning.
i. Face to Face
A face to face workshop is conducted at the start of each module to introduce students to topical issues and familiarize themselves with activities and tasks that they will be required to carry out in the workplace. The workshops will be between 2 days for each module.
ii. Workplace Learning
At the end of each 2-day modular workshop, practical tasks will be assigned to students to carry out in their workplaces. The tasks will require applying knowledge and skills learnt through the workshops. These practical tasks are negotiated between students and supervisors to ensure that the learning experience is relevant to the needs of the learner’s organisations.
ASSESSMENT
Assessments tasks developed to measure achievement of the competencies included written assignments, workplace practical, oral presentations during workshops and in the workplace
CERTIFICATE AWARD
Participants who successfully complete the course are awarded certificate of competency in Business Leadership and Management.
