Admission Requirements

• The Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Tertiary Teaching) is available to those who have completed the Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching (GCTT) or equivalent.

Four (4) Courses

1. ED401 (Teaching and Learning in Higher Education) - This course will provide learning opportunities for group members to share experiences arising from teaching and research throughout the duration of the course and to encourage participants to reflect on practice as part of their continuing professional development.


2. ED402 (Curriculum Design and Evaluation in Higher Education) - This course will explore a range of underlying themes shaping curriculum development and evaluation in higher education.


3. ED403 (Pedagogical Principles of Online Learning) - This course teaches to create a successful online course. The course describes a variety of student-centred instructional methods that are effective for students in online courses.
