The Certificate in Basic Skills in Library/Information Studies is designed to train library assistants at pre-professional level for work in public, government, school and other libraries. This programme will be offered only through distance and flexible learning (DFL Admission Requirements: | To be admitted to a Certificate in Basic Skills in Library/Information Studies a person shall have: - passed a Senate-recognised Form 6 equivalent examination or;
- meet the mature student admission criteria.
