General Information

USP Information Technology Services (ITS) offers a range of computing and IT-related services to students. These services are available for achieving academic and research purposes for their program of study. The following services are offered in the computer labs and at the Student Support Centre:

• Network services including email, Internet browsing, class shares & newsgroups
• Email support services
• Disk utility services
• Support services on the use of standard software
• Print services in the labs and at the Library
• Computer training during the Orientation week
• Dial up access from home
• Provision of daily maintenance to computer lab facilities

All students including undergraduate, postgraduate and extension students will be provided with an email account.

Students located in the Centers can collect their email account details from any of the USPNet operators in their Centre. When collecting their passwords, students are required to provide their ID cards for validation purposes.
