Multimedia Training using Flash Program

Presentations:

Mr. Kenji Kiyuna, a FLASH expert from the Okinawa International Centre in Japan, is currently conducting training at USP on the use of the Mulitimedia Program, "Flash".

The training commenced on Monday 9th May, and the main objective of this training workshop for USP staff is to acquire skills of FLASH animation to enhance teaching and learning experience using Multimedia.

"Flash" is an animation software program to enhance and provide more interactivity in the production of educational teaching materials.

Workshop schedule is as follows:

  • 1st week 9/5, Mon - 13/5, Fri
    Lecture and demo, study with Tutorial

  • 2nd week 16/5, Mon - 20/5, Fri
    Practice with skills learnt from first week
    Create at lease one simple animation (small project)

  • 3rd week 23/5, Mon - 26/5, Thu
    Demonstration and practice with Interactivity.

Workshop is divided into 2hr sessions in the morning (for non-DFL staff) and afternoon (for DFL Support Centre staff) on a daily basis.
