Enhancing Video Production Skills Workshop.

Mr. Jun Chinen and Mr. Tomayasu Maekawa were at USP in March to conduct Training on Enhancing Video Production Skills.

Mr. Chinen first visited Vanuatu, from March 4th - 15th to conduct a Multimedia training with the School of Law, Emalus Campus before joining Mr. Maekawa at Laucala Campus from March 16th - 26th

The Laucala campus workshop was held from March 21st - 23rd at the CELT Seminar Room.

The workshop was aimed for USP staff who wanted to utilise video materials for teaching and research purposes

The main objective of the workshop was to acquire skills and knowledge of video production to enhance teaching and learning with multimedia.

After the training, participants were able to:

  1. Operate basic video camera functions;
  2. Effectively shoot taking into account, the different angles, composition and sizes;
  3. Explain basic functions of video camera;
  4. Operate basic editing using Adobe Premier Pro-1.5;
  5. Produce a short video program
